Fall Quarter, 2026: September 21–December 9
Classes are offered in the following instruction modes:
- Flexible (FL): Face-to-face and/or online instruction that allows students to choose how they participate (in-person, online asynchronous, or online synchronous) and to switch between options throughout the term. Available participation options are described in the class notes.
- (FL) w/ In-Person & Online Asynchronous: Optional meeting times; attend in-person at scheduled times or fully online asynchronously, and switch between options during the term.
- (FL) w/ In-Person & Online Scheduled: Required meeting times; attend either in-person or online at scheduled times, and switch between options during the term.
- (FL) w/ In-Person, Online Scheduled & Online Asynchronous: Optional meeting times; attend in-person, online at scheduled times, or fully asynchronously, and switch between options during the term.
- Hybrid (HY): Combines scheduled in-person instruction with required online learning that replaces some class time.
- In-Person (Web Enhanced) (WE): Face-to-face instruction on scheduled days and times that requires the use of web-based tools, such as Canvas, for coursework, communication, or learning resources.
- Individualized Instruction (IS): Instruction arranged individually with an instructor, including schedule, format, and learning activities.
- Online Asynchronous (OA): Fully online instruction with no scheduled meeting times; coursework is completed independently within specified timeframes using web-based tools, such as Canvas.
- Online Asynchronous w/ In-Person (OB): Fully online instruction with no scheduled meeting times; coursework is completed independently within specified timeframes using web-based tools, such as Canvas. A limited number of required in-person activities, such as assessments, exams, and/or orientations, are scheduled and must be attended for successful class completion.
- Online Scheduled (OS): Online instruction delivered through required real-time (synchronous) virtual meetings on scheduled days and times, with possible additional asynchronous activities using web-based tools, such as Canvas.
