The Learning Center provides free personalized tutoring, resources, and guidance for all Peninsula College students.
Whether you are struggling and overwhelmed or just looking to enhance your academic skills, our tutors are here to support you every step of the way. See below for more information about the services that the Learning Center provides.
Math Center
Our kind, patient tutors are current and former Peninsula College students. Get help with assignments, studying, reading textbooks, using your calculator, understanding concepts, working problems, and so much more!
Writing Center
The Writing Center offers tutoring for English courses and writing for any other course or project. In addition to writing tutoring, students may schedule reading and research tutoring with our instructional and reference librarians.
Tutoring Center
The Tutoring Center offers one-on-one tutoring for many subjects other than math or English. Book sessions for in-person or virtual help. Receive up to 15 hours of tutoring per class, per quarter (does not include math or writing center hours).
eTutoring
eTutoring is a national online tutoring service supported by the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges. Students may access eTutoring from inside Canvas.
Technology Tutoring
In person: at the Library from 10:00 am–2:00 pm, Tuesday through Thursday, when the Library is open (check the Library’s scheduled closure dates).
Online Tutoring: Book a 15-, 30-, or 60-minute appointment for Canvas support via Zoom. To book an online appointment, use the button below.
Interested in Becoming a Paid Tutor?
Teaching is a fabulous way to increase your own understanding of a subject. Get paid to help other students while enhancing your own learning.
